My professional world is a kaleidoscope of exciting colorful experiences. I’m innately a lover of music. Everything from National Music Awards to International Music Honorary Mentions to a coveted Ministry of Tourism’s Music Winner’s Title to trumpeting out Jazz sounds for more than 2 decades. But in between and before I started out in the pharmaceutical industry as a trained Pharmacy Technician then I transitioned to teaching natural sciences for several years. I love teaching! What a privilege it is to pour wealth into the next generation through knowledge. After a few years in the classroom though, I started to feel that there was MORE for me give.

Then, I transitioned to the amazing world of Media! I started out as a News Reporter at The Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas (ZNS) – the premiere TV & Radio Network of this enchantingly gorgeous paradise (my home). A few years later while doing PR for a concert, featuring headliner – Grammy Award Winner, Israel & New Breed, a Gospel Radio Personality said to me, “Shema, send in a demo, you were born for radio!” After nudging me for a year, I did and was hired a few days later. And THIS was the start of me coming into my ‘true self’.

F rom the premiere FM Gospel Station – Joy FM to Spirit Gospel FM to Gems FM to Sports Radio to Guardian Talk Radio where I interview Influencers from all walks of life. I adopted the title ‘Lady Shema’ from my radio listeners who say – “You dress, speak and carry yourself like a lady.” Seventeen years and counting, on the air bringing inspiration, motivation and cutting edge ideologies to all as a Radio Personality and a Talk Show Host. After a few recognitions and an award in media I had to S-T-R-E-T-C H (grow and expand in my reach)!

Transforming challenged teenage girls into princess ladies AFFIRMED in their identity, beauty and purpose, through my mentorship program called The Affirmation Nation manifested as my NEXT (and what a s-t-r-e-t-c-h)! Thirty six girls and counting then led to yet another S-T-R-E-T-C-H and this stretch has led me to FANTASTIC YOU!

As an experienced life coach, I’ve walked alongside, helped to guide and sometimes lead individuals from a place of guessing their next step to creating a go-getter actionable plan to achieve their personal goals with success!

T his is a PROCESS (God knows I’ve had to walk my own process and it’s been WORTH IT)! This process consist of phases and steps like overcoming hurt, identifying and defeating limiting beliefs, crystallizing your life’s purpose, polishing your communication and public speaking skills as well as getting clarity on your self-identity. The great news is – I’m here to walk you through every step of the way.
